Consul of France Andre de Busey visited Punjab Industrial Estate Development and Management Company. Foreign investment, business opportunities in Punjab, and facilities provided to industrialists were discussed.

Chairman PIEDMC Javed Iqbal welcomed Andre de Busey on his arrival at PIEDMC. CEO PIEDMC Ali Muazzam Syed gave a detailed briefing about the facilities and one-window services provided in the industrial zones of PIEDMC. Chairman PIEDMC Javed Iqbal invited French companies to invest in the industrial zones of PIEDMC to get the best facilities. Javed Iqbal said that there are excellent opportunities to do export-based business in Pakistan and especially in Punjab which can bring foreign exchange to Pakistan. PIEDMC is providing the best facilities to domestic and foreign industrialists and investors which is not only increasing the confidence of industrialists but also establishing a positive image of Pakistan in terms of business worldwide. While talking to the occasion French Consul Andre de Busey said that unfortunately, foreign media spreads negative propaganda against Pakistan there is an urgent need to dispel the impression. Innovation and the use of technology in business can attract investors better. He also said that Exchange programs for businessmen and students should be organized between France and Pakistan, which will further improve bilateral relations. PIEDMC Board Director Sajid Saleem Minhas, Dr Shahid Raza, and members of the Lahore Township Industrialists Association were also present at the meeting.
