SUNDAR INDUSTRIAL ESTATE

It is the flagship project of PIEDMC which spreads over 1763 acres. It is located on Sundar-Raiwind road and is about 40km from the center of Lahore. As of today, Sundar Industrial Estate is the best industrial estate of the country in terms of infrastructure. It serves as a catalyst for economic growth in the region, attracting local and foreign investors. Its contribution to employment generation and economic development make it a vital pillar of the local economy. The estate was completely developed in February 2007 and all the plots are sold out. There are over 560 factories in production in Sundar Industrial Estate and providing jobs to approximately 80 thousand people.

Area Distribution

Approximately 1262 acres is under industrial plots and remaining area has been dedicated for roads, infrastructure, amenities, utilities, commercial area, green belt, etc. Overall distribution/utilization is based on international standards and need assessment surveys.

All plots have been sold out at SIE, however, plot allotment is a continuous process, as some plots are vacated either voluntarily by the customer or cancelled by the Management. Vacant plots are re-allotted to customers as per a waiting list maintained by the Company.

PIEDMC Under Ground Electricity Network with Dedicated Grid Stations
Net Metering
Work has been initiated to install digital electricity meters in the estate. Industrialists will be able to have real-time monitoring of their electricity meters which leads to ensure transparency.

Keeping in view the future electric consumption needs, PIEDMC has approved to set up a second grid station in SIE.

Fully functioning administrative and site office, Boundary wall completed Water distribution network with underground and overhead reservoirs, pumping station and generator house completed, Underground sewerage network completed, Laying of electrical distribution network and sub-stations is in progress
