Objectives of One Window Operations is fast processing of proposals/ requests in order to help industrialist in early start of their businesses. One window operations are providing efficient and timely resolution of customers’ issues. This is in line with PIEDMC mission of rapid Industrialization in Punjab. Scope of One Window Operations includes.

To streamline customer interaction with PIEDMC | Reduce customers request processing time | Provide guaranteed response time | One Window operations also provide Monitored & Traceable working to avoid delays.

SECTORS OF INDUSTRY

Building Map Submission

  • Request letter for mortgage of plot. (Request Form)
  • All dues should be cleared
  • Mortgage letter issued to client.
  • Lien marked by PIEDMC with bank.
  • Bills can be paid at PIE Head office, BOP Gate # 2, or at BOP 7- Egerton Road branch or SIE branch.
  • PIEDMC Account # CPA-1624-5, Punjab Industrial Estates.

 

  • Submission of application form with 100% advance payment.
  • Offer letter for the said plot is issued by PIE.
  • Upon acceptance of offer letter, Plot area verification is made for physical possession of plot.
  • Allotment, Possession letters & Agreement to Sell are issued to client.
  • Physical Possession handed over.
  • Operational & Maintenance (O&M) charges @ Rs. 4,000 per month/acre are applied after 3 months of allotment.
  • Copy of owner’s NIC, Possession slip & Agreement to Sell.
  • Three sets of Drawings on ammonia print signed by owner & architect.
  • Soft copy of map on CD.
  • Architect Registration Certificate (PCATP copy).
  • Structure Stability Certificate (Engineer PEC copy).
  • Submit PIEDMC ’s Building Bylaws book, each page Signed and Stamped by Owner & Architect.
  • Letter of nature of business as per application form.

Map scrutiny charges are as follow:

  • First & revised plan    Rs. 6/S ft. of covered area
  • Revised plan    Rs. 4/S ft. of covered area
  • Addition & Alteration     Rs. 6/S ft. of covered area
  • Request for Temporary Electricity Connection, on company letter head.
  • Pay Order of Rs. 40,000/- in favor of PIEDMC (Non-refundable).
  • Copy of application submitted to obtain Environment Approval from EPD.
  • Activation of connection.
  • Meter replacement charges Rs. 16,718/-
  • Re-location / Reconnection charges Rs. 7,000/-
  • Request letter for industrial connection, on company letter head.
  • Submission of Industrial Electricity form.
  • NIC Copies of Owner & Witness.
  • Copy of application submitted to obtain Environment Approval from EPD.
  • Collection of Demand Note from PIEDMC office.
  • Payment of Electric Demand Note through pay order.
  • Electrical Inspection Report from Electrical Inspector office – Govt. of Punjab.
  • All dues should be cleared
  • Site verification by Building Department.
  • Connected load verification by electrical Department.
  • Energization of connection.
  • Submission of Complete set of documents required for submission to Social Security & EOBI department. Details are as follows;

  • Examination / review visit of Social Security  EOBI department officer.
  • Registration certificate issued and sent directly to customer by the department.
  • 3 sets of As Built Drawings (Ammonia prints).
  • Soft copy on CD.
  • Environment Approval (Govt. of Punjab Environment Department.
  • Registration with Labour Department.
  • Registration with EOBI.
  • Registration with Social Security Certificate.
  • Electrical Design Certificate.
  • Fire Fighting Equipment and Network Plan.
  • Insurance Registration Certificate.

Environment Policy

  1. All the industries established in PIEDMC industrial estates have to comply with the “Pakistan Environmental Protection Act- 1997” (PEPA-1997).
  2. Industries that have significant hazardous environmental impacts and aspects are not allowed in the Industrial Estate.
  3. All Industries should comply with National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQS).
  4. After the submission of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or Initial Environmental Examination (IEE). Under the Section-12 of PEPA-1997, all industries for their construction and operational phase must obtain Environmental Approval from Punjab Environment Protection Department (EPD).

A) The first step involved is the submission of the Environmental approval request to EPD.
B) EPD reply the proponent to either to submit EIA or IEE report according to regulations mentioned in PEPA-1997 under Section 12.
C) The proponent will be awarded with Environmental Approval after the Submission of report.

  •  Environmental Approval is mandatory for the attainment of the completion certificate.
  • For change of nature of business, proponent should give an Environmental Compliance Undertaking
  • Submission of Complete set of documents required for submission to Labour Welfare department. Details are as follows;

List of workers
List of Machinery
Certificate of stability
Copy of Approve Plan of factory Building

  • Examination / review visit of labour welfare department officer.
  • Registration certificate issued and sent directly to customer by the labour welfare department.
  • After registration, Examination / review visit by officer of Labour welfare department, if required

INSTALLMENTS IN BILL REQUEST FORM

  • Request letter for Sale Deed of plot, in case of company on company letter head.
  • Copy of Completion Certificate with request.
  • 3 months production record.
  • Transfer fee, 7% of the plot price.
  • Rs. 35,000 Legal Documentation charges.
